I went to a sale at a machine shop that's closing down, and got a carful of stuff at a great price. photo 1:Hardinge indexing head with 6 plates, small vise. photos 2,3: big sheet of aluminum that I'll use for a backsplash for my lathe, sheet of perforated steel, I'll use in a couple of grille shells that will go up on my garage walls, and a 1951 bomber oxygen tank that will go in the HAMB cl***ifieds. photo 4: fractional, number, and letter size drill cabinets with hundreds of drills, and 2 partial #60to#80 drill cases. photo 5: broach set, end mills, Starret gage for measuring the diameter at the top of countersinks, (It's been about 40 years since I've used, or even seen one of these) red Scotchbrite pads, jacks, Starret tap wrenches, counterbores, R8 shank drill chuck and face mill, bronze and plastic stock, etc. photo6: Gorton cutter grinder. photo 7: Kennedy tool box full of endmills. photo 8: Starret inside and interchangeable anvil micrometers Hardinge, and Chinese 5C collets, sine bar, tilting v-block, geometric die head, reamers, keyway cutters, vise stop Scotchbrite wheel, more cutting tools. rec1.JPG rec2.JPG rec3.JPG rec4.JPG rec5.JPG rec6.JPG rec7.JPG rec8.JPG

  8. Open banjo rear end
With the front and seems to be 4 usable 16 inch wheels. I’ll keep the rear, wheels and juice brakes

  9. 8.50 x 16 must have been a ***** to mount on a 4 inch wheel. Can't see any damage to the rim though.

  10. Cool.
Who knows. There’s hints of olive drab green on the axles and wheels. They came close to a military base

Those would work great for rear wheels.
    Didn’t the cars have 16x4?

@51 mercules I love the artwork on "The Rogues", any idea what that was originally for? Super cool thing.

Just brought back enough stuff from a local estate to invert the leaf springs on my poor van. Mostly off-topic musclecar era stuff, but I had to share this one piece below. It'll never get used, I'll park it next to my also-NOS hubcap cable locks that turn a loose hubcap into a centrifugal nunchuck of death.

  24. Found this clipboard in a box of things I put away years ago. Acquired it when I lived in the Southwest in the 80’s and frankly forgot I had it. Found a reference in a book about Pie Town N.M. to this dealership being around in 1953 but nothing after that. CC4948A0-A988-4406-9069-075FE7DC0CBE.jpeg

IMG_3910.jpeg I scored these from @Speedys Garage last night and ran up to Paragould to pick them up this morning. I haven’t looked at all of them because the wife has me running around helping her with Christmas but I should have at least 4 that can be snapped onto regular rims. All of them are really nice and got a great deal!!
