I know of one very similar to this here on Cape Cod the guy owned a bunch of old race cars and he past from the widow maker artery blockage and went in his sleep a couple years ago,and left them all to his daughter but not sure how many have ***les. The coupe had an extended front frame and deep recessed firewall and straight axle and spool rear. It would be neat for the street. And it's 4 sale

 

I like that name! DRAGROD! Does my car qualify? It runs in the high 10s and its all steel, with a 4 speed, if that helps me get into the dragrod club.

 

This was for sale for $3200 in Michigan a couple years ago

Another small shot of my coupe, I love this thread.

 

It still looks basically the same two owners later. They changed to American 5 spokes, installed an automatic and took off the 3x2 and installed an Edelbrock 4bbl, but otherwise it’s still the same.
