First post to this group, I have a new to me 1934 Ford Tudor sedan. It has the smokers window. The drivers side window was cracked. I took the window out and had a new one made. I am having a hard time getting it back together. There is a 3rd roller on the lower window channel which pulls the window forward from the smoker position. can anyone explain where that roller is to be seated on the regulator? thanks

Its been a while since I worked on my windows, but I mostly remember what a PIA it is trying to work inside the doors of the model 40. Ask over at the fordbarn, prolly get some answers there.
There should be a pin screwed into the channel at position 1 after the rollers (actually sliders) are inserted in the middle. The roller pushes that pin to slide window back. The "roller" on the lower channel bracket gets contacted by the regulator arm at position 2 to push the window back and then down. Hopefully that helps. I will add, those two points and where the gl*** sits in the channel must be positioned correctly or it won't work.
