Happy HAMBiversary! A possible glimpse into the future, well 20 years to be precise since you brought it up.

Technological Singularity: Futurist Ray Kurzweil predicts that by 2045, we will reach a point known as the "technological singularity," where artificial intelligence (AI) will surp*** human intelligence. This could lead to profound changes in society, as machines become capable of performing tasks that currently require human cognition**.

The HAMB would be run by R*IA*N (Ryans AI replacement that will go live from an undisclosed Hawaiian server on August 4th, 2027 and become self-aware on August 29th the same year). By 2045 all of the posts will be done by AI bots uploading AI imagery. There will still be random troll bots uploading images of 20" wheels and antique LS engines, but they will be vanquished by MOR*IA*RITY 4.0 that now patrols 24/7. Oh, we will undoubtably still be here lurking, our own bots reposting the same, rehashed stories and pictures and other people's threads while we monitor from our workshops where we tirelessly labor on our cryochambers, riveting ALL*IA*NCE tags to the capsules and adding decorative striping.

**Kurzweil Claims That the Singularity Will Happen by 2045

    Twenty years, wow, that's big!
And with that ***le I can't believe @Bandit Billy let this slip through his hands without even mentioning the Beatles.

I took the high road. Besides, I was never a Beatles fan. Harrison? Maybe. Ringo? Lucky. Paul? Meh. Lennon and Ono? Too many no's.

Twenty years for me, too. How did you find The HAMB?
I found it through a link on The Chrome Czar's website. They were the "Traditional" Hot Rod club that put on "The Hunnert Car Pileup" show, here in Illinois.

I'm here since feb 2009 and still love it , I prefer a good forum like this above Facebook and other social media.
I learned so much on the hamb when I started with the hot rod hobby.
And now I'm building my own hot rods and try to help others who just start , the first lesson is always " read , search and spend some time on the hamb ! "

I joined a while back and I still come to learn stuff I can't remember when I joined but it is a few weeks ago.

  25. I'm a week shy of 9 years.
I'm still not sure of where I fit in around here, though.......
Because, looking back over almost 70 years of messing with cars, I haven't built very much. But you know those basket cases you guys find and pull out of the fields? Well, I'm the guy who put a lot of them in those fields.

@302GMC when you started this thread 11 days ago it got me thinking. When I checked my profile info I found that 26th December 2005 was my join date so yesterday was 20 years for me. Have enjoyed those 20 years of the HAMB.
