I've been using regular red Sta-bil forever, put it in in November and cars/lawnmower start right up in May, snowblower gets it in May and starts right up in November.
The past couple years I've been adding it to the lawnmower/snowblower 2.5 gallon gas can, since one can might last the whole 6 months of machine use.
I use 93 octane with 10% ethanol right out of the pump, the NY state limit.

I've never used anything but MMO in my stuff. The term fuel stabilizer seems to mean it's capable of integrating any water into the fuel, so the mix can be burned away. Never had a need to concern myself with water except for the rare occasion the gas station had water in their tank. Seems to me fuel stabilizer does nothing to stabilize fuel, it just integrates any water that may be present. From my understanding, it doesn't make fuel last longer by stabilizing it. Am I missing something...?

Only fuel additive i use is the lead subs***ute, my guess, probably don't do **** (smells like kerosene) but its worth the small cost, if it does just anything its worth it.
Mmo i just use lubricate tools with and such, its a cool thing and smells good, hard too get over here
Best way of keeping moist and water out of the gastank is keeping it topped

I don't use the stuff, but I run non eth gas in the hot rod. However, don't use it in anything including my boats or snowblower. Didn't use my snowblower once last winter, so it's been sitting just shy of two years. Fired it up first pull last week when it snowed, ran fine....

I use Stabil as well, for many years. No issues, lawn mower, snowblower, everything gets a drink.

For me it's not "I use X brand fuel stabilizer and have never had an issue", it's if you use nothing, and have never had an issue.

I can piss on my tire and since it's never had a leak, be positive it's the piss that's doing it...
