Somewhere in Israel. Car has been off the road for almost 50 years. Owner won't sell. Owner died and family sold it to someone else and the car still sits (somewhere else).

Why yes, it has the big 1000cc motor.

 

Went to look at a T and then guy had this too. Last tag is 2001. Said 1000 or make an offer.

 

I already have 3 of those...

 

Are they really worthless? I'm keeping an eye one one that looks a lot like that one. White ragtop in a garage, engine partially dis***embled.

 

Probably has the floor pan separating from the rockers, Ford's design for spot welds between the floor pan and the rockers left a lot to be desired in that time frame. The hard top bodies didn't hold up well, can't imaging the convets did any better. Open the door, stick you foot just inside of the rocker, push down and see if the floor pan moves! The floor pans became unconnected from the rockers, from the firewall to the rear tire, drivers side first, then the p***enger side, even with out rust being present. I welded them back together and braced a lot of them.

 

A rare 1947 or '48 Ford F472 rotting away in an abandonned castle, hard to tell if it's a very well done home made modification or a coachbuild conversion, there's a parting panel with gl*** behind the seats with neatly folded metal and wood structure.
If it's a coachbuild, which I believe it's probably a one of one.
