One of their best recent ones IMHO. Recent for TRJ is a debatable term apparently here.

Autobooks in Burbank now has #87 available in both covers via their website. I just ordered the B cover to go with my A subscriber cover issue.

I've been a subscriber since the fourth issue. I was sick when I was hearing about their production issues. I was afraid they were long gone. I really miss print and subscribe to the few Hot Rod and Kustom magazines but none of them are as kool as RJ. I wasn't sure when my subscription would expire so I sent them more money to make sure I would still get the next issue. If we don't support the hobby the hobby could eventually go away. Yes they made some mistakes and I bet if they had the opportunity they would do things differently. I'm glad they are still fighting to get the publication going again. Thank you RJ for all of the hard work and still producing a great magazine.

Lifetime subscriber. If mine don't show by the end of the year I'll try Auto Books.

My wife ordered some recent issues for me in November for Christmas. Nothing and no emails returned? Am I screwed?

Between the seasonal rush, the issues with anything going across the border and the postal strike up there I heard about, I wouldn't be worried yet. Hope you and all others due will get them soon.
Seems the strike is over, but weather is messing things up this week.

At this stage I don't think that any of the non USA direct subscribers have received a copy yet. For some reason the international subscription copies take forever to get to their destination.

Still waiting for #87. Paid for renewal 11/13/25. The email I sent asking what was going on was ignored. These guys know how to put together a great magazine but are clearly clueless on how to run a business. Perhaps they should let people know they aren't going to deliver, refund subscription payments (if possible...not possible I'm sure) and close up shop. This pretend magazine of theirs only makes people angry and makes them look like crooks (which, perhaps, they are)

Placed an order on 1/20/26 for issues 85 and 86, received an order confirmation email right away and then crickets. I have not received my order yet nor have I gotten any replies to my messages I have their customer service. It's very disappointing and frustrating and there is no way to get a refund.

No magazine, no reply to the email.

I’m sure it’s like one guy and 1000 emails a day. Kinda feels like bailing water on the ***anic from over here.

...It's kinda ironic, the people who are sending countless e-mails day after day and actually wonder why they don't get a response.

Good point if you were to send me a pile of emails then I would probably direct one to junk and once that was done every other one would go there too.

Nothing more infuriating than someone filling up the mailbox and not being patient enough for a reply.

With that being said I haven’t received a copy of TRJ in almost two years now.
I have a lifetime membership and I’m in Canada and starting to think I won’t see another issue.

  28. If you sent an email to customerservice@roddersjournal.com. Then you will get a response. If you like, you can PM me your email address, and I can forward it to the subscription department so they can email you back.

With help from Hot Rod Ron, I got this reply from Rodder's Journal last week.

    Hi Rock,

    Thanks for your email.

You are on the list for the next bulk mailing of #87, sorry it is taking longer than expected to get out, but it is on the way.

Thanks for your patience and support, we appreciate it.
