Looks great. I probably couldn't do as well with my shop, nevermind you doing that away from your regular home shop in a carport! This stupidity and people trying to discourage another capable craftsman on here from shortening his radiator gives me a headache.
EXACTLY! How else is it supposed to be done? People do things to suit their self and if it works, it works. Screw what others may think, I say. It looks fine and it'll look even better when it's finished.
It looks fine and it'll be fine when it's finished. I remember doing gl*** work and it always turned into an ashtray. So, I stopped.
Well, it does kinda look like that, but it is the striker that came with the Model A latch. Turned 180 and bent a bit.
I made this tonneau comer for my ‘59 T’bird with a sheet of 20 gauge, some conduit, the edge of my workbench and a stick of angle iron used as a brake. Skirts as well, which are two piece so can be use as full or partial. I stand by my statement.
Let me say that in the 23 years I've been on here I don't recall ever criticizing the work anyone else has done/posted. I live in a gl*** house so don't throw stones. I'm just tickled that Ryan allows me to play in this sandbox. Brian; in my eyes you do good work. Please carry on.
Thanks. I don’t think I have, although I’m sure I’ve insulted a few unintentionally. I don’t mind at all calling out people who tell me what I’ve done wrong, followed by”I’m an expert and I do better work than you do” (as some did about this project), although I know that everyone gets wet in a ******* match.
