I'm looking for information about the rear most angle iron trim part that protects and finishes the wood floor ends at the Tailgate and is a Stock trim part. It doesn't seem to be reproduced, and I don't have a stock one to look at. I've had to replace the stock rear factory crossmember that the wood flooring sits on that the trim in question bolts to. I believe the stock piece only had 4 carriage bolts holding it in place. The damaged original crossmember has multiple holes drilled in that location. See photo. I believe the 4 correct mount holes are the ones in front of the Green Tape. There are 3 other holes in that line that I believe are not needed in Stock profile. I have folded a new edge trim part out of SS and don't want to drill extra or wrong holes in it. Who can post up a photo and some measurements of a Factory Correct trim part and help out this Old Guy to move on?
Brrrr, is right. That's above and beyond the call but true to the HAMB. I thank you! So the way I read that is that only 4 carriage bolts is correct. First on the ends are 3/4" in from the edge then 15-3/8" and on to 33-3/4". T

F-1 beds can get really interesting. 1948-late 1950 used a sheet metal bed floor on top of the wood. The ‘48-50 bed has the sculpted bedsides and the fenders are notched. The vertical bed posts are also rounded. It’s more Art-Deco than the late 1950-1978ish bed. How the wood goes in the early and late F1beds is a little different too. There are slight differences.
