    This picture brings back memories. The Ford Rotunda was originally an attraction for the 1933 Worlds Fair dis***embled and moved to Dearborn Michigan to be used as a showcase for the Ford, Mercury and Lincoln brands. It was very large and featured innovations from the car world as well as history. It was also decorated for different seasons and at Christmas was transformed into an elaborate Winter Wonderland complete with Santa. Every year my parents would take my older sister, brother and myself to see the display. It was always something we looked forward to and by the huge crowds half of the Detroit area looked forward to also. Unfortunately it burned beyond repairing 1962 and was never replaced.
