I have that issue, Ted had to be very astute to be working for Valley Head Service.

 

All the back issues were on the Motor Trend website until Motor Trend got sold last year.

They dumped all that. Wish I had downloaded at least some of it.

 

Who needs to save all those old magazines? It's all on the Web, right?
Well, until it's unexpectedly deleted.

 

I had this discussion just last night with my wife’s cousin. “Why do spend so much time cataloging all of these old hot rod mags?” One solar flare was my answer…..

 

Ford made the 360 by using a 390 block and 4 bbl pistons and combining it with a 352 crank and rods, if I remember correctly the pistons are .200 down in the hole which makes for low compression but a very poor quench area.
