Going to need some help this is probably beyond my ability. Starting on gl*** 32 ford roadster pickup have body repo frame and kugel open wheel stainless suspension kit. Any tips on mounting suspension to frame without frame Jig? Pinching the frame? Wheelbase?

Measure twice, level and make sure your square, then measure again. 106" wheelbase.

Call Kugel. They are friendly and helpful. If your frame was properly built on a jig it should be good to build on a level garage floor. Like 2deuces64 said measure twice. Kugel should have diagrams for mounting their crossmember. What rear end and suspension? Are you proficient at welding? If not you will be smart to find a local shop with a good reputation that can handle the work.

When you say "repo frame" do you mean an ***embled, welded , squared bare ch***is or just a set of rails? If it has a front crossmember installed, bolt together the spring and axle and work back to the wishbone or link mounting points.
If you just have bare rails, a jig or flat surface is needed to properly setup and square the rails. A 32 should not need the frame pinched to use with a 32 body.

I've done several, both Kugel & Heidts. It's a very complicated job even for a professional. I strongly suggest you enlist the help of a reliable shop to do the frame. What your doing is expensive. I was in the ch***is business-for 40+ years.and I still had do some careful measuring when doing what your doing.

Who is doing the bed sides in metal for the pickup roadster bodys? Seems like lot of options to be had.

  13. Brookville makes them for their version of the cab.
