Glad you stuck with it, will they be aluminum or cast iron ? Hard to tell by the photo.

Performed surgery on the stock unit on my Red Ram 241. One e the crossover was separated from the water pump ***embly I had it chemical stripped and bead blasted. Got the cast iron really clean. Had the bottom below the T stat housing brazed and here you have it. No worries since the crossover is not under pressure.

 

Why do you say that it's not under pressure, I don't understand? I thought the whole system was under pressure.

Not that you're well executed surgery on the crossover couldn't withstand some pressure. I'm sure it could.

I am running the stock crossover on the 354 in my avatar. Have had no problems in the 15 years I have had it on the road. I am using a 180° Chevy thermostat and it is still performing well to this day.

 

Did you get the water crossover ready to sell? I want one, so if it’s ready, I’ll buy one. If not, put me on the list!

Change the an fittings to jic and black hose with crimped tube lock fittings

I think it’s been twenty months since @31Vicky with a hemi has visited here, no other information has been offered. Apparently the project died on the vine, that’s too bad, it looked promising.

 

My water crossover patterns for 331-354 heads on a 392 have been acquired by Hot Heads.

 

I sent him a few aluminum water crossovers that were never drilled to see if he could do anything with them but he busy after the move. Hope he’s ok
