History Lost in California == Are there any remains of this ANSEN SPECIAL?

    I've asked in the past and can't find the post so I'm starting a new one. A year or so after this photo was taken the new owner crashed the car, are there any bits of it out there? The cowl has a unique swoop to it, it is about at the end of its career, running a Ford Flathead. Any and all info is of interest. Thank you for your help. Bob

    STILL LOOKING. Are there still some old Dirt Track restorers out there like there were in the 1970's? I was really active back then , just lost track of everyone that was into the cars, parts engines, and people that built & drove them. Best wishes for 2026! Bob

    The hats were made by their mom.
    They could only play with the cars in the hot sun if they promised to wear them.

    I think I offered to wear one of those hats for a year at car events if it helps locate the remains of the car.
