What does it matter if she’s a girl? I’ve seen many guys come here and ask far stupider questions. :(

I wanted to remove crank bolt on my sbc. It was tight and the engine was in the completed rod.
I put the breaker bar with 12 point socket and bar about 2" above the left frame rail.
    Cardboard protection behind radiator.
    What could go wrong?
Engaged the key starter for a fraction of a second.
    Bolt loosened? Viola!

I think the engine is not in a vehicle though.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the BFH and chisel method. That'll get it off.

Yep. Those things are cheap, and super useful. It seems that very few people own one.

We have a no-name 1/2" drive one of them that's been used at least 1000 times. Motorcycle guys have these a lot.

They work excellent on Phillips screws also.

1/2" breaker bar with shallow socket and a 6' cheater pipe.
Have a second socket ready after you crack the first one.

This and a “single jack” will do it.. Granger, McMaster etc. IMG_0473.jpeg

  12. We used those sledge wrenches at work, but ours were for much larger bolts and nuts.

I find a 1/2" breaker bar can be a scary thing with a really stuck bolt as it gets flexible and springy. Not so with a 3/4" breaker bar. They stay really solid even with a 3 foot extension tube with 250lbs swinging on it. Can release with a good crack, but no flying objects!

However, in the case in question I'd imagine a 1/2" would have it away without drama.
