Technical Flash Bond Adhesion Promoter?

For years I would keep some Flash Bond adhesion promoter around just for a little extra insurance when I was repainting something that was difficult to scuff really well (door hinges for instance). A few years back our building was destroyed by mother nature and most of my painting supplies were exposed to the elements and subsequently pitched. I recently wanted to get some more Flash Bond, but it appears it is no longer made.
Does anybody make a comparable product? If you have personal experience using whatever product may still be available, I'd love your input.

    Thanks in advance.

Is there anything noticeably different about it versus the old Flash Bond?

  4. Never used or heard of flash bond so I don’t know
I’ve used bulldog many times on plastic without any issues

As Anthony said Bulldog is the go to generic adhesion promoter. Every paint company also has their own at probably twice the price.

I found some U-POL quite reasonably priced. Has anybody had much experience with their products?
I've heard the name a lot, but I realize name recognition doesn't always mean quality.

Around here, U-POL was the mid level price body supplies that was available at our local Oriley's auto parts store. I used their body filler on my 49.

Grip#4 is one of U-Pol's versions of Bulldog. I used to deliver both on occasion when I was still running parts & paint for Napa.
Gonna paint my 10 X 6 enclosed trailer this spring. Be my first go at using an adhesion promoter. Interested in anyone's tips/experience.
