I had the chance to see the strohs car built by lil John ****era, it’s a beautiful well put together car. The owner is looking to sell it also.

  3. Won't find much love on the New HAMB with the V6 in it. Kind of a shame really, because it really is a well built, well designed hotrod. And the V6 is probably putting out twice the HP of a flathead.

  7. If the owner wants to sell it, why not list it on The H.AM.B. It will get great exposure, even if it has a V-6.

Ya that is too bad since like you said it is" well built" and a very nice example from a well respected builder.

I've had an appreciation for anything that ****era built, although the only one I saw in person was his white Model A roadster, and that was at the NSRA Nats just last year. Always well executed, well proportioned, sleek and simple. I appreciate the cars for their simplicity and what they don't have as much as for what they do have.

V-6 vs a "look at me" big block with a tunnel ram and a fairground thumper cam......I'd take the subtle but spirited V-6 in a 1700# roadster like the Strohs car!

I remember seeing that car when I was reading my dad's Hot Rod Magazines back in the early 80s. Glad to see that it survived in its original form.

Five years have p***ed - Wonder where it is now??
