I don’t think so. I remember him telling me about working with Hilborn to get it all set up. But, I’m thinking it may still be mechanical.

Oh I'm not gonna run it. It looks cool as hell, but I could never see it working for my needs without spending even more money. I'm gonna sell it all. I have a box of parts that came with it, belts, pump, drive, jets, etc. My buddy ran it on a drag setup years ago. I dropped good money on my carburetor, supposedly set up for my car as I had to call them and answer a bunch of questions.

ATM has very good customer support which is why I have a pair of their 850s set up for E85. While I would like to run mechanical injection, it is a royal PITA to get it to work right for both street and strip driving and you need to continually retune it. I looked into it for one of the boats and opted not to go there for that reason. This is probably why the E in fuel injection is so popular a**** certain people.

I suggested the Car name to be "Smoke and Mirrors"

You brought up doing some body work / prolly sanding and bondo and sanding and bondo and sanding etc etc. and this new name came to mind.

    "Mud Slinger"

Wish I could be there to help and learn this body work magic. I have two more cars to do for myself.

I'm always open to learning. The body work is something different than the mechanical side. Seems like my greasy hand just had a problem getting a handle on it. :(

  21. I now know how a seat comes apart, but there is no way I could ever make a seat cover the way you do! You are an artist!

Lol nah, I don't get much upholstery work. I don't do boats or late model stuff, and apparently my pricing is too high on the stuff I do. But I can't work for free. :D I'm still cheaper than the next closest upholstery shop.

Your not to expensive you just have the wrong customers. They are looking for value and you are selling quality.

New 750 ATM double pumper, I'm impressed. Also raised the rear of the car an inch. 20251227_134034.jpg 20251227_134048.jpg 20251227_165020.jpg
