Hey, now..., well OK, probably due to the guy driving it.
By the time I had the 4 speed Road Runner (my 2nd of 3, not counting the dirt track racers, it was the hottest street car I ever had), I was a responsible adult of about 25 years old, with a wife and 2 kids, and a house with in 3 years of being paid for! I even had a real job in the maintenance department at a union shop factory, in the heavy machine repair department. My wife had a car, I had a truck to go to work in, that Road Runner was my toy (it may have been involved in a bit of street racing...) 100_0792.JPG
Pic at the Mopar Nats in 1981ish, stuffed Road Runner on the hood. I sold the car in 82 (less the drive train) to cover the cost of the lawyer when we bought our 2nd house. Never got any kind of traffic ticket in that car, I knew how to play that game.

Nice road runner Gene I went to high school for auto body and college for a degree in automotive technology in Springfield MA. Had a lot of fun .my buddy in school had a green and dark green top '68 GTX 440 6 pack it was one of the fastest car I've ever ridden shot gun in especially at 147mph and climbing the sound coming from under the hood of that thing was simply awesome. Good times back in '79 .:) IMG_20260101_134546194~2.jpg That's my mopar story happy new year everyone

I sure hope that that is AI or was staged for the Kodak moment.

I'm guessing AI. That bomb (or whatever it is) is too long to have actually come out of that door.

As seen on FB today. We need tighter borders.
Steve Tansy’s The Pool Hustler sold for £32,000 in November and will now be making it's way back to the USA.

That's an old photo. I think it's real, but I guess that the forklift was backing up and the weight of its load made it tip. It's s****ed the pavement as it went down and back.

My friend hauled those things from Hawthorn, NV to the Fallon Naval Air base (Top Gun). He rolled a full truck load and walked away. They are far less dangerous before they are "armed".

Every time I'd see a good-looking woman my brakes would lock up!

Last time I locked up my brakes it was in the lights on the big end, next time I was in staging the guy that pulled the cars into the lanes came up and told me to hold out my hands and then smacked them and told me not to do it again and walked off. :)
The worst thing was that the front tires were new BFG Traction TAs that howled so F’n loud it was broadcast over the entire track property that I had slid the tires trying to scrub ET.

What is worse than telling your dad that you crunched his fender?

I don't know why but when I was a kid I tried to drown a feral cat in our horse trough. I let it go pretty quick and have never thought that to be an option since.

I added the text to that cl***ic picture of a black cat being bathed by the owner, the cat looks like a true pissed off creature from the black lagoon!

In my world, that would have been called "pay back!" I never got my payback from him.

My son marked a few of my vehicles over the years. You should ask him about the bicycle, the 2 week old painted car, and the bicycle flying over his head as he fled the scene. That outcome was better then it could have been.
Then the dent in the side of the raised 4x4 truck, that was 4' off the ground. It took a real imagination for him to come up with his story to try to cover that one up. The real cause of that dent bought him a bit of space.
