I've been looking for a project for my V8 60hp, what do you think of this?

I'm getting a fair pile of v860 stuff and have been wondering about an appropiate project to put one in. My current thinking is a downscaled modified that I can tow behind the '32 on a single axle trailer and use to cruise around the events in. Only problem is if I build it Hotrodladycruiser (Denise) will confi****e it and I'll still be walking.;) :)

English Ford Model-Y - like the black one in this pic:

They're like a 3/4-scale '34 Tudor (like my now sold brown sedan on the left), so a 3/4-scale flathead would be a perfect fit! ;)

  9. Was a dragster application with a V8-60 ever a thing? If any, please, let's here about 'em.

Might check with Vern Tardell : there are a couple of "T"s with V8-60s in them around his place...

This thread is almost 20 years old, but I'm still a "Hard NO".

  14. Sure, then 3 wheeler idea is silly. An up-scaled Morgan tri layout, maybe. But, could a 60 work in a 1/8 mile slingshot? My guess is they are better suited to the midgets, or even the salt.

Darryl Starbird built the T touring in the early 60's with a V8/60 starbirdtouring.jpg

Here is a current pic of it, unchanged since built starbirdttouring.jpg

  19. About 50 years ago I picked up a V-8 60 badge from a '37 Ford a**** a bunch of stuff in a box at an estate sale of my dear neighbor. I've thought about using it somewhere on my '29AA but have decided against it. Just really doesn't fit anywhere.
