   I have been googling this with mixed reviews. I need the official answer from a plumber.
   
   Can you use standard crimp copper rings on PEX-AL-PEX? I just wanna know what I need to buy, prior to getting into this project.

   The kit I bought uses more of a compression fitting with a plastic ferrule that I’d wedged into place with a threaded nut on the fitting
