It seem like every thing in my life is in Mock up,, like my house and my Cars and even my models are in Mock up.. So some times I need to get off the puter and try to step coser to that dream of having all my projects finished.. I know there never finished But,,,, I can't wait to not have any projects and just simply enjoy what i've finished. I try to work on my car at least an hour a day. MY goal is to make it to the Round up...so now I'm sanding and getting the body down to metal..just fitting and adjusting pieces to have it ready for when my ACEHOLES frame arrives (A frame in pic is just to sit on) I've been hauling ass on MFS too., so I had some time to get dirty. Nice Patch job..Rivits, roofing tin, and Lots of Bondo...Good times Got most of the goods for the fornt end...Got this cool Axel from Lucky Burton...Rules. Finaly got all the header pieces wood and metal.. Also chopped my first windshield... Working on the body The Nurf bar....Awwwww old chrome....these 50 buick light will fit the ass well... Warbozz dose excelent work!!! the posling comes out really nice.. very old time-eeee.. found these cool distro plugs...Eelco.. I'll run clear wires of course MMmmuuuu BLCs... and finaly...Caddy valve covers with knuckles..They need a little massaging and a trip to the chromers and should be good...DONE DEAL>
Looks great... love the valve covers. At the revolution, there was a cad motor sporting covers with knuckles made from spoons. Pretty cool.
I'm glad the intake and carbs came out so nice for you. Keep us posted on how she's going together. Lookin' Good!
You must really be motivated, MFS4 almost off the the replicators, progress on a model, and the perpetual mockup, nice work. Now that you have the lumpy Valve Covers I wish I had an extra set of adjustable Stude Rocker arms for you.
Thanks everyone...Ya it's going to be a fun car... The cool thing is that Bleed is setting up the frame so I can basicly drop my motor in set up the rear and then its a roller...When I get to that point is on...as soon as MFS is at the replicators it going to be a build frensy. Titus..Ya those rule..I would of run those if I didn't have this... e.
Evel, I like the direction you are going! I have never been a fan of 60 style Hot Rods and especially Customs. But, I think the Hot Rod can evolve better than a custom. Since seeing Bob Bleed's roadster I was hooked on that style for Hot Rods! Bass's coupe looks awesome and can only get better! Littleman's is beyond words and your's will be a sight for sore eyes here in SoCal. Hey, Maybe I'll see driving up to Austin for the Round-Up? Tried like hell for last year, 2007 seems like it will happen (99.9 % likely!) Thanks for sharing. Make sure you get some bell bottoms to complete the look, Just like the 60's Bro.... Ken
Ya its wierd..It seem like there is only a handful of 60's style Hot Rods in the sea of 40's and 50's styled cars in Cali..Travling all over since MFS 1 my tastes have changed..I always wanted a 60 style car but now its turned into an obsession. I like to stand out. I'm adding denim to my cuff as we speak Titus: Got the Lexan online..Can't remember what site tho.. Mel: That frame is a part of hot rod history...it's number 2 of the bleed sweep. Its worth hundreds. My DAWG..Job e.
I like the dog the best. But I am a sick freak... Hey my family might fly out to the round up this year I hope to see you, your car and your waffles there I will bring the helmut and the MONSTERS!!!! your pal, Jack
