Has anybody figured out a way to install disc brakes on a stock Model A banjo axle without adding any width?
Or, a way to install Bendix type drum brakes on a banjo without adding width?
I bout a full set of the Lincoln 12” brakes but the add 2.5” to the total width and I don’t have any room to spare.

I had a quick-change rear end build for my Model A, which has closed drive shaft with a t-5 trans.
1940 Ford bells and narrowed to stock width with Lincoln brakes, 9" axles and a spring on top of axle like stock. Only reason I went this way is to run Kelsey Hays wires.
Took 8 months and almost $8,000 in total.

Narrowing the axles would be the only way. A cheap way out would be steel wheels with the right offset.

If you are running a 48-inch axle, your overall width once installed will be 56-1/4 inches.

Not as a purchased kit ,
All custom @ mix match of parts .
    Can be done , adding 1/8 - 1/4 each side to stock A rear ... Maybe "0"
