Thanks. I just got home from the show. One cool detail on the altered wheel base ChevyII? It had a torqueflite push ****on ****** !!! I have always thought that was the way to shift an automatic in a drag car. Kind of like changing radio stations when a lousy song came on. My old man had two Mopars w/ push ****on torqueflites back in the 60's when I was a teenager. I beat the **** out of those ******s and they never went south on me. Glenn

With such a wealth of history here I’m surprised there’s no thread on vintage pictures from 60s 70s and 80s Frank maratta auto shows. Can’t imagine there aren’t alot of pictures out there from these wonderful shows. It was a highlight for me when I was a kid to go to those shows and see the cars.
