    Thanks. I just got home from the show.
    One cool detail on the altered wheel base ChevyII? It had a torqueflite push ****on ****** !!! I have always thought that was the way to shift an automatic in a drag car. Kind of like changing radio stations when a lousy song came on.

    My old man had two Mopars w/ push ****on torqueflites back in the 60's when I was a teenager. I beat the **** out of those ******s and they never went south on me.

    Was glad to see the Stroker's rail again along with the display of news clippings from the day. Top gun car when I started attending Orange back then.

    lenny dave owns that 40 tangerin pearl i think. you met him at your shop the day we were there. the guys are still talking about that day thanks john

    I think Kevin still has chili pepper and this is another car- he did build a bigger and better one- it was in Boston in January Hemi 1000 I think its called

    I saw the car in Boston with no graphics as well Lenny. Hemi 100 is cut into the slicks "tread"...

    With such a wealth of history here I’m surprised there’s no thread on vintage pictures from 60s 70s and 80s Frank maratta auto shows. Can’t imagine there aren’t alot of pictures out there from these wonderful shows. It was a highlight for me when I was a kid to go to those shows and see the cars.
