I was in heaven when I found the Hamb, watching all the projects being built I got to itching to start another car, I was amazed watching guys building cars that in the past I would not touch but I already had my next project in the barn.

I was just going to get the car running and that's it, but we all know sometimes we get in over our head but decide to make it as nice as I could, I had been a member here a little over a month and I drug Brenda's grandmothers wagon out of the barn, her Grandmother Jessie bought the car brand new, She learned how to drive delivering flowers for her grandmother in this car.

This is what the car looked like when I drug it out of the barn. HRP

If my math is correct, Danny, if you have spent 5 minutes reading and replying to each of your postings, then you have spent 225 twenty-four hour days contributing to the HAMB. No idea where you found time to pee! :)

Congrats, Danny. That wagon is so cool!

  14. Congratulations Danny!

Time definitely flies, the end of next month will be 15 years for me. I was late to the internet in general though (except for email) I didn't get on any auto related website until 2007 & that one turned out to be a joke as the idiot that owned it took bribes to delete complaints posted by members about sellers/service providers.....Glad I found the HAMB!

    God Bless

    Happy anniversary, Danny.

Brenda driving the wagon so many years ago, delivering flowers for her grandma is really something. No wonder she has such a p***ion for the car.

The very best to both of you.

I'm just here for the food.

Not only Brenda but Me too, back in 1967 I was playing in a band and my dad's 1962 Chevy wagon was used regularly to transport all our instruments and PA system.

One Friday afternoon a propane truck hit dad's wagon and wrecked the front suspension, Brenda's Grandmother let us use her wagon that Friday & Saturday night and for the next 3 weekends until dad's wagon was back on the road.

Several years ago when fellow Hamber and good friend Deuce Roadster (Randy Nash) P***ed away Brenda insisted we haul the floral blanket piece to Greenville,South Carolina in the back of the wagon to lay on his casket. HRP

Haha, happy anniversary, HRP! I´ve always enjoyed reading your posts and learning from you guys across the pond. Just saw that I´m only 25 days later than you, I joined Jan 28th, ´03. I had been lurking since about ´01 but never had the guts to join , as I had been afraid to get my *** chewed for asking dumb questions. I finally signed up and did get my *** chewed for asking dumb questions, hahaha, enjoyed every single day of being a member of this crowd.

Ah the days of being a granade inspector, we all got chewed up and spit out, you bet some of the characters scared the sh!t out of me, but even then there were people that made me feel welcome.

That was the reason it took me a while to sign up too. I was also a little cautious about putting info out on the internet. FNG, grenade inspector haha there was some crazy times, but even by '05 when I joined it was easing up.
