Featured History 23 years to the day

The Hamb has grown exponentially over the years and we as members take the traditional hot rod & custom serious, the members that have the knowledge share it with the young and old guys & gals.

I joined at a time when bashing the newbie was a game, many members decided they didn't need the **** in their lives and left others ignored the **** and full speed ahead, sometimes they gave it back, then again over the years most members got on board and treated each other with respect, the knowledge is avalible for the asking and there is no dumb questions.

Awesome Danny. I feel like a young squirt having joined only in 08. I missed out on the craziest times here, but I will occasionally go back to the early pages and read some random threads. It can be pretty entertaining.

Hey Pal, Glad to know that you’re still healthy and active.
I don’t remember how long I lurked until I got over my timidity and joined.
Fortunately I didn’t get flamed as bad as I had feared.
I hit 23 last September, and the move really took some of the steam out of me.

I know what you mean, I lurked for several months before Deuce Roadster talked me into joining.

The very first person to welcome me was Denise Sheldon, the first to flame me was GERM. HRP

It took me 5 years of lurking to decide to make the plunge.

So, I'm at 15 right now.... Honestly hard to believe we have been here this long. And I don't get tired of being here.
