60's era racers

Should be pickin up a left-over 60's racer in the form of a 34 Chevy sedan some time soon. Still has cage an side crash bars intact. i am gonna try to do a period-60's racer or gasser wif it. could any of you direct me to some good sites fer inspiration? and ideas fer powerplant?( flatty would be tits but not enuff dinero, comprende?) Speedway sells a good straight axle fer the gasser look( no gassers 'round here) but if there is a cheaper way , tell a brotha! OK, I'm OUT!

Sounds like the one you are gitting is an old dirt car. Here is the 34 chevy early 70s dirt modified I had and raced till last july.
