It has the Ford bolt pattern to the bellhousing. If you want it to have the shifter in front of the seat, that trans might not work.

Been selling T5 to Flathead engine transmission kits since 1994. Most complete kit on the market. Costs a little more to have a good one. In stock for early Chevy pattern (85-92) & late Ford (93 up) pattern trans. Gary at Cornhusker Rod & Custom

Looks like a Ford trans that has had a Jeep input shaft swapped into it. That lets you run a 1o spline clutch disk rather than hunt hither and yon for the unobtainable clutch disk with the right spline and diameter.

I wouldn't argue against it being a 2 wheel drive Jeep trans though. You would get tarred and feathered and run out of town with a two wheel drive Jeep anything around here but in some areas they seem to sell. The Novak Guide to the Borg-Warner T4 & T5 Transmissions

If the ID tag is still on it you can usually ID a T-5 here Identification Key to Borg-Warner T5 transmission ID Tags

It works, I’m running that same setup in my Merc right now, mine came out of a mid 80’s Chevy S-10, so I was told.

  11. Looks like the same one I have in my Model A, '89 Mustang. I swapped the tailshaft with an S10 to move the shifter.
