I bought a bunch for my '60 fairlane. google the clips. had to buy a few here and there. you're lucky if you have all the good trim. as scarce a hens teeth. I had to modify a wagon rear quarter molding for my door as could never find a 2 dr molding

That's funny, my dad had a similar response when we brought it home. Keeping the six for now, had the manifold split and new exhaust put on.

Updated photos of the work I've been doing on the Starliner. Doing some mild kustom work and getting it ready for paint. 20220422_190351.jpg 20220422_163257.jpg 20220422_163225.jpg 20220422_163215.jpg 20220422_163103.jpg 20220426_195422.jpg

I'm working on a 60 Ford Courier that I needed all the trim clips for it. I looked in my 60-64 Ford parts book where they have an illustration of all the clips and where they go. Ended up finding almost everything at Dennis Carpenter. Expensive little ******s. Don't have a 60 Starliner but I do have a 61. It was a tough choice.

Restoration Specialties may have the clips you want. They have or had a lot of NOS factory clips, I cleaned them out of some of their '59 Ford clips.

You need a set of Edsel emblems for that.

Dad ordered a Starliner within couple weeks after they came out on the fall of 59. Royal blue sort of color with white top. 352 and Cruise-O. I was a couple years away from getting my license when he bought a new 65 Galaxie. He asked me if I wanted him to keep the Starliner for me so I could have it when I turned 16. At the time, I thought all 60 Fords were ugly as hell so I declined.

One of many dumb*** decisions of my life, as I'd love to have it today. Since I didn't want it, he sold it for about $500

I've been trying to buy a '60 Starliner off of a local farmer for years. It's sitting outside. Floors are gone. He won't sell.

I have enough of those "gonna get to it one day" projects already, but mine are stored inside.

I had a friend whose dad had a '60 Ford, 2 door sedan. What a rust bucket but it was reliable. This was in 1974 or so. By 1976 it was junked, had a 6 in it and an automatic.

Oh Baby! It doesn’t take much to get me all lusty for one of these.
Ford really did a great job styling wise, IMHO.

I've always loved 60 Fords. Ford dropped the ball when they didn't build a 60 Ranchero. At one time
I considered buying a 60 Ranch Wagon and attempting to convert it. But 60 Ranch Wagons are scarce,
and the metal work required above my skill level to do nicely so I gave up on the idea. My vision
was solid black with a nice rake and Buick wires. I recall reading somewhere that the 60 Ford was the
longest p***enger car Ford ever made. Can anyone confirm this?
