You know Danny, seems like a chosen few get their issues eventually.
Wish we were on the list :)

I bought the lifetime membership thinking I would at least get a few issues a year but now it’s almost like it’s a once a year publication and I can’t remember when I received #86. But it’s been a long time.
I’m hoping to get one issue in 2026. #87
The way things have gone #88 might arrive by July or August of 2027. If it ever shows up.

Not that it really matters, but I’m curious as to what order they mail out? Alphabetically? If so, I’m in the latter half of the alphabet. I read a post from someone several days ago saying that the second mailing was about to go out.

While I'm not privy to the workings of mailing companies or USPS requirements; I believe it would be done by zip code.

Thinking about the process, the magazine is probably shipped from the location where the mag is inserted into the cardboard. This could be at the binder OR an other processor. Certainly dont want to ship magazines very far for a next process step. At some location, the labels are printed, probably on a roll or rolls. First label printed is last off that roll. Then, someone has to stick the label onto a cardboard. A roll of labels and a pallet of wrapped magazines may not match in quan***y so somewhere in that process, there is a partial pallet left or a partial roll left. Also, the label sequence may be for a presorted mailing or an unsorted mailing.
Next, there are a pile of cardboard mailers ready to go to the Post Office. The size of the truck or container determines how many go to the PO. When the cardboards get to the PO, there is another round of randomization and Christmas surely affected that process.
So just in the packaging and mailing process, the order gets mixed really well. It happens again when the bundles are broken apart (if presorted) and if the route mailman is overwhelmed with the volume that will fit in his 1988 DJ.
But, even with all of this, most of the magazines should have been delivered by now. It's been at least 12 calendar days since Christmas.

You guys are lucky to get yours early.

International subscribers have to wait about another 8 - 12 weeks after the US subscribers get theirs.

Being that it has been more than a year between issues lately, it might be a little early for a statement like that.
But we can try to remain cautiously hopeful.

Same here. I’m not complaining or whining, just trying to keep it light hearted.

I received my order from Autobooks-Aerobooks today. They were a little slow on getting it sent out, I ***ume because of the holidays, but once it was shipped it got here promptly. I commend them for doing a great job of safely packaging the magazine, it was in a sturdy cardboard box and wrapped in layers of bubble wrap.
