This shell came from a AA '31 truck. I made the insert from a piece of honeycomb same as used on sprint cars, painted satin black, does a great job in protecting the radiator, but appears as original. IMG_3407.JPG

Made from an e-bay purchase, Stainless steel moon type disc, rolled the ribs on a Pullmax, machined the caps from aluminum, then polished and applied body color paint.

  7. This coupe has it all. However, I'm guessing it's running a little rich, not just because of four deuces but because of the soot along the door. I love that the DeSoto hemi is so m***ive that it vanishes into the firewall. One thing I've not known is the difference between the Fireflite and Firedome engine designation. School me, please.

My '29 AV8 Avatar has had an original '32 shell and grille and radiator since 1958.
