    He was talking about the full fendered California car that had the p***enger compartment and roof lowered by sectioning only part of the body, the quarters and deck lid were not sectioned.
    The car shown above has a z-ed frame and the fenders have been raised higher on the quarters.

    Just an FYI . . . that HAMBer @sonic03bluegt owns (or owned) this Deuce 5wd Coupe.

    I read somewhere that it was supposedly built in the Carolina's in the late '50s . . . "finished" in the mid '60s . . . and "updated" in the '70s.

    Thanks for the photo array. Lots of interesting detail. Not sure how comfortable I would be towing anything with that set-up.
