No matter what color you end up with it will certainly be awesome. And you didn't ask but my suggestion is Washington Blue with Tacoma Cream accents. JMO

 

Or reverse would be nice, i have always liked Washington blue but cream hides a lot. Will look up Tacoma cream. JW

 

Started on the engine ***embly today after i painted the block and other bits with stove paint. Got the crank and cam in, pistons and rods in tomorrow. Back to work Monday so things will slow a bit but hope not too much. JW

 

Had a break on this for a couple days after i gap'd the rings but fitted the pistons/rods tonight, It turns over with 15 ft lb's which pleases me.... more soon. JW

 

Been chipping away on the engine, just needs valves, head and pan and a few other little things. JW

 

May fit the valves later. I need to take the oil pan to work and braze a fitting for the oil temp sender and the head has the evaporust stuff in it till next week. JW
edit: valves are now in just need to gap them.

 

Finished this section today, i fitted some bits i cut out for the first roll bar, all gl***ed and bondo'd and sanded, just needs primer. Next for this piece is a mount for a small windshield. JW

 

And in place... makes things look a lot better. JW

 

Cleaned out the gearbox, painted it all, sorted the clutch etc and bolted it on. JW
