    Cool story and car!! It would be cool to have that picture with the boys and the route 66 sign blown up into a poster hanging in your barn by the car.

    Sorry to hear of your friend Chris's p***ing. Thanks for sharing the story of him and your Dad, great stuff. It's really neat to hear the ties that link up to the present with you now being owner of his '34.

    Great story. Great old fashioned HAMB thread. Sorry I missed it til now. Glad I’ve been able to hear the story over the phone though. Super stoked for you being able to carry on the legacy of a group of friends from a generation before.
