The craftmanship shown in that Baker Electric car is phenomenal. The beautiful fit and finish and the sound of those doors closing is music to your ears. The things we used to build in this country say a lot about our past. Now we have sold our souls to drive amorphous plastic blobs. Detroit is gone, now workers toil building plastic cars for their foreign masters. Technologically superior but devoid of style or beauty. No chrome, but miles of plastic. The Toyota Camry, another jellybean car, is now what people drive. Sad...
I wonder if Jay has a plan for his collection when he is no longer with us, or unable to care for it.
I saw Jay at the LA Roadster Show once. Just a blue collar car guy like most of us. Cl*** act for sure.
Last nite on TV watched the movie called "Silver Bears" made in 1978 and Jay had a major part in it appears he made a few movies and is worth millions
