I went from 60+++ years of Flathead v8 to 4 cam Lincoln “power” in less than a week. This is what happens when the wife(43 years marriage) asks if it’s o k to vacate Texas(for me 75 years—-her less time) and move across country to the beaches in s.Delaware—-I agreed and was eager for the change of life——working out fairly well.55 Ford 2 dr post,original paint,factory tinted gl***. Wow, A/C had to be somewhat rare on those?

 

273 4bbl is going to be mechanical lifters if OE. Run them as part of the Get To Know You tuneup.
Really look over the front end. Left hand lugs on driver's side stock. Oh and most A's tend to have driver door striker issues due to hinge wear. The rest is all typical Mopar stuff.

 

This was one of the ones I got to be around for inspiration. I molded the scoop on the hood and painted it when I was in high school. It was just an old beater bracket car.
