I would like to see smoe ideas for a two tone paint scheme on this bullet nose stude. I was thinking silver and something? Black and silver? Anything? Thanks, Don
That's going to be a really hard picture to work with, since the body has different colors on it. Your best bet is to start with a picture of a stock restored one and photoshop it. If you want to play with it yourself, download the GIMP, it's a free, photoshop-style program.
Just fooling around here - it is tough to do something with this photo, but I threw this together real quick. With that stance and those wheels the baker kind of says "I'm an old Stock Car." Go figure.
HAHAHA!!! Every car should have at least one rendition of it dressed up as the "General". Glad you guys like the mockup - with that stance, it just looks rough and fast to me. Look forward to seeing progress on the build.
Don't paint it. Please. Find a rusty hood to match, mild chop, slammed with red steelies and spider caps (I know, I know) Done. -stick
Now that chop looks like a lot of work but ya know what ? I like it. the lowering is cool as well......... Dave
You need to get that looked at ? I had a friend that that that studdddddered..... They never fi fi fi fixed him though. It was funny when he a a asked for a si si si six pack The ther was the time he was talking about gettin some pu pu pussy Ok back to the topic im sorry Dave
I agree with don't paint it. My amateur opinion is: 1. Get it driving 2. Drive it 3. Work the bugs out while continuing to drive it 4. Stance it 5. Keep driving it 6. Possibly chop it 7. Drive it some more 8. Eventually paint it if you must Oh, and maybe dark green wheels. Thanks, Kurt
Now Hat Man you got this!!!!!! I have a big block Chevy and a tripower set up going in this thing. I don't know about the chop, but the rest of it is nearly right on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I was really leaning toward the moon discs! Any body else want a shot at this? Some really great ideas here. Not sure about the 01 tho. Thanks, Don
I think if you're gonna lower it, ya gotta go ahead and chop it. Hat Man's mockup is beautiful. It just wouldn't have that mean flow without the chop. IMHO.
I've always like these stude's... except for the back window. I think they need something swoopy like the rest of the car. As long as you're going to the trouble of chopping it, consider grafting the back window of a: 71 riviera http://www.musclecar-logbook.net/GMC/1971%20Riviera%20%200038.jpg or Mustang http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/03/mustangfastback65_03.jpg or Chevy C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\0DMBCHIR\picchevy[1].jpg or Silverhawk http://billstudepage.homestead.com/files/mahawk.jpg Sorry, I don't have photoshop.
