My niece, is now a third generation living up the road in the house Mom & Dad built in 1946. She didn't want the stack of firewood in the back yard, so my oldest grandson & I moved it. Feels a bit odd remembering my sister and I climbing in those trees back in the 1960's. They burn well. What looks good in the snow in your yard?

I have a lot of great memories of finding stuff in the snow and chopping it out of the frozen ground. It was just so common to do back in the 1960's, all the open storage in plain sight stuff is gone now.

There is a big plus to winter time. When all the leaves drop and you get a decent new snow fall the horizontal lines of fenders, roofs and pickup beds stick out like a sore thumb.
Even if they are back in the woods a bit.
Kinda helps p*** the cold days out huntin fo vintage tin. IMG_2392.jpeg

Thank you. The snow was a challenge. I ended up treating it I would clouds. Then the highlights/shadows were believable.
