View attachment 6622429 My buddy Craig (Kiwi) Hopkins p***ed away on 12-12-2025 in an auto accident. He owned Kiwi Kustom Upholstery and taught upholstery at Valley College in San Bernardino and Riverside City College. He was a member of the Lords Car Club from Riverside,Ca. Today Some Piece of **** STOLE Kiwis 1956 210 Wagon, 1947 Fleetline and the Shovelhead Motorcycle around 3:30am this morning. They attempted to steal a 1956 chevy body on Kiwis car trailer that they lost control of and was left in a ditch on Alexander Street not far from his house in mead valley. That's Kiwi in the pic and the 2 cars that were stolen.
Any thing less than crying is ignorance. I should point out to the 'thugs' that some of us cry from within silently. Anyhow,,, Less than that,, can't be reverent. Apologies for resorting to emoji for the feeling. I've had too much loss of property and other ''***ets'' to just read and go. but the goods that I lost were at least a boon to another person. Not this **** of destroying the things in the process. One sunset as I saw the faces of 2 young 'adults', to be. Checking My '65 SS Malibu that was parked too long behind a row of stores. Daily 'Haunt' The nite b4, the Holley 4bbl and the B.W.-210 -had been separated from my Bu I was leaning against the door, they roll up looking wide eyed at my prize then suddenly!!! They meet my gaze and realize that the coupe had an owner Varoom they tear out of there, While reaching to get my keys into my hand and jump into my van, and chase into the sunset,,, I sense the danger + the cost of almost certain mishap. I checked my heart and thought "I got into this car thing to be happy and have fun". Deciding that I can get over it, I felt a lot taller. Having goods destroyed is beyond any RATIONALE. Thank You, apollogies for the rant. After sitting with this a while, I feel I should 'fess up and admit to the fact that my reluctance to chase the perps up the highway, came from not being a legitimate driver. The State had revoked ( as opposed to suspended ) my license for nonpayment of citations of several categories. That and a H Duty van is easy to catch up to with the blue and red roof lights.
Wow, even no peace in death. taken too early by an accident. Sincere sympathy goes out to his friends, and especially his Family. Hopefully someone will stumble across the stolen stuff and report.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. And then, the loss of his legacy. Hopefully the low lifes will get caught by someone in the car community. Old West justice was right on. Steal a man's horse and you would get hanged.
As far as I am concerned, no more mister nice guy when the thieves are caught. They just need a serious *** whipping with a big baseball bat. I'll bet that some of Kiwi's ( RIP ) friends would be glad to administer the *** whipping
F*cking methhead thieves ! Kill them all ! Mead Valley was known as tweekerville when I used to lived south of Elsinore.
I never condone violence...... But I wouldn't be averse to a peaceful 30-days in the electric chair for situations like this.
I just don't know what is the matter with some people. One has to be a cold-blooded worthless human to steal anything from a good man who has p***ed.
That’s a whole different level of low to do something like this. Hopefully they’re caught quickly and the cars and bike are recovered. Please keep us posted of any updates.
Car thieves just plain ****! Hopefully everything is found and the pieces of **** that stole them rot in hell!!
While not running and driving, there were multiple 40's and 50's cars stolen out of the back 40 at a relatives place a few years back, after he had p***ed. The family went out a few days after the funeral and discovered everything from a 46 Chevy coupe to a 56 Merc hardtop gone. A neighbor saw them hauled out and the dummy asked one of the guys what he was doing. The guy driving the truck and trailer said "The family wanted us to help clean out the land since (blank) had p***ed on, so they can sell the property." This was all BS, but the neighbor bought into it, and let them go. Long story short, only two out of 9 cars were recovered. And the police were on the basis of "Well, we need camera footage or proof..." To this day, no one knows who did it. The two cars recovered, one being the 56 Merc and the other a 55 Meteor 2-door, were "sold" to a s**** yard, but were saved before crushing. One of the cars still missing is a purple 58 Impala hardtop. Yeah, some people are garbage at times. I hope everything can be recovered. And I'm still amazed at how big of you know what's people have to steal OLD cars. Makes me very angry!
I'm still trying to find out. Don't know any details. Someone posted on another website and said it was found.
Sorry for the loss of your friend, and then again for the gut punch of the stolen vehicles and motorcycle. It seems like that's the way life goes for us that get left behind from a loved one p***ing more often than not. Hopefully they get some good leads off the '56 being found....Stay strong.
Sorry to hear the loss of your friend. That ****s. The thieves need to be doused with fuel and set of fire. Send a message. We are too f'n soft on criminals these days. Sick of it...
We have penalties ( jail sentences ) but the judges seem too lenient nowadays. Make the perpetrators serve the full sentences with no time off for good behavior. If someone were to let Bubba know what they did, perhaps Bubba would like to help in an *** whipping or so.
The 56 was found in a residential area in Menifee, Ca. No damage to it. The Fleetline and Shovelhead are still missing.
Maybe God made fireants, for us to put crooks in too there ant hills ,with only the head at the gr***.
Used to know a guy who had a late sixties Chevy truck that got stolen twice. First time it was recovered after a high speed chase, second time it was found just down the street because he had wired in some hidden kill switches, and it was abandoned after they tried to hotwire it and push start it.
