This would make a good Bandit Billy golf cart. Needs a rack of Coors on board.

When I get up over 125 in one of my contraptions I'm thinkin, did I put a cotter pin in this or that or does that torque to 45lbs or 85?

As well as the panel van and the ute, also available as a 4 door sedan, a 2 door coupe, and a station wagon...... and don't forget the tonner.:)

My old "one tonner" was virtually a copy of this one.

  22. Don't think those guys were in the car. RHD with the windows open and elbow out  the driver probably has a face full of gravel and gr***. Car might have been in the ditch for a day or two before the towtruck came.

It’s Down Under… sometimes we park there :). Looks to be a HZ Holden panel van (****gin wagon) though parts exchange real easy on HQ, HX, HZ and WB.

    cheers,

I’m surprised no one ever came out with a fibergl*** Messerschmitt body. They are still one of the most popular micro cars.

  26. I reckon that the panel van in the ditch is AI-Notice how the letters and numbers on the plate are nonsense. Also, nobody parks like that here, we always park cars on their roof.

Pic brings up another memory this AM, My first new vehicle, a 75 Chevy PU, bought it in March, we had an rain/ snow/ ice event late March and I laid it up on it's side in a ditch going to work, not to the extreme of this pic. Same deal less than a year later going to work in a snow event, In ditch again and ran into a pickup that was in front of me, he beat me to the ditch. If memory serves that truck was $2600. and within a year $2000 + in body repairs, I had insurance to cover it minus deductible and yes my insurance went up, Ironically my first vehicle I ever had collision insurance on as it was financed, also the first vehicle I ever financed. I had the cash but I spent $2800 for a new SESCO midget race engine, the best racing engine I ever owned, more stories on racing subject for another day. HAMB, Coffee, starts my day.

  28. Could be, AI allways screws up little things like numbers and letters. The rego sticker on the windscreen is a 4 so thats good . Maybe the private plate says "numnut" thats 6 letters.
