This photo turned up today on the Old Ridgefield website. Main Street in a 1934 storm, that white apartment building is still there and the Town Library is to the right, the other building on the far right was torn down in 1969. Always good to see my hometown photos from the past.

My 48's winter storage, for nearly every year since 2011, it sat inside through the winter of 2018 getting this done (to fix a water leak around the rear window), then it got the paint job above. P1010001.JPG
It has been back outside every winter since 2019. The car is 15' away from the driveway, 75' from the street.

According to the weather and news we should have a great opportunity for some snow pics seeing that dang near half the country is under a winter storm watch

I always liked the scene in A Christmas Story where Ralphie kicked Scut Farcus' ***. There was that rotted out roadster shell sitting there that he stepped through before getting pelted with the snowball.
Always makes me wonder how that car got to be in that shape in what would have been what, mid to late 40s? I know it was filmed in the 80s, but it's one of those weird automotive inconsistencies in movies.
The Tudor cab Scut and Grover were sitting on is cool as well.

I imagine there will be a lot more post in the coming weeks, if anyone has power, they are calling for 3 inches of ice and freezing rain here, we are not use to that type of weather! HRP

Not happy about this one having to sit out right now. It’s under the lean too, but not room in the shop for it currently…
