Today I traded off our brown 50 Ford shoebox for this 1940 Ford fordor sedan. The previous owner pulled it out of a shop that it had been sitting in since the 70s I believe. It has a later model 8BA flatty in it, 3spd and Columbia 2spd overdrive. It has some rot around the trunk that I'm just going to leave for now, it came with a patch panel for the bottom. Anyways, I'll let the pics do the talking.
Congratulations, Know where we can find you for a while. That is the best, one could build, sedan wise. It really is a time traveler. Keep us informed as you go.
It amazes me how well the seats survive when they were covered with those seat covers. It will be a lot more fun than a 50 Ford. Congratulations
I love the '40 Fords and the shoeboxes too! I have a '40 Std Tudor and three '51 Fords, two are 4drs and the nice one is a Coupe. All are flatheads. Wish my '40 had a Columbia in it. I do have one for a '46-'48 I would like to modify for the '40. Yours look great! Dave
