scratch built 29 coupe body, using AMT 28 Tudor, AMT 29 roadster, and monogram 30 coupe kits. I had planned on building a 1:1 version, but at 79, I don’t have the energy for one last build.
a less satisfactory 29 coupe was based on modifying a very incorrect resin body. It looked pretty good when finished.
A few of my parts box cobble jobs. All are original 60s models. Blue roadster with fenders I would have tried to restore as an original build but whoever got ahold of it last really butchered it
I just discovered this thread, I'll just post my current project. This is further along than this now but this is the last photo I took of it.
It's been a while since visited, but I have a puzzle. This is the trailer from the original issue AMT 1964 Corvette. It was only issued once. I got an old built up and stripped it. My question is if there were any real trailers made like this? The trailer deck looks similar to Marsden planks. and it would be pretty light weight. Probably not ideal for bigger cars. Anyway, if anyone has seen a 1:1 version or has any ideas, I'd love to hear!
