  1. It's auction week here in Scottsdale, AZ. Here is what I had the chance to see while working for clients. Next will be RM and Bonhams.

Yep I’m watching/recording it right now. Since I can’t get the Me*** auctions (DishTV) I’ve become a Barrett Jackson junkie with the dedicated channel in the streaming section. From what I can see the prices are holding for the most part but we are only on day 3 so we will see.

The '32 Sports coupe looks like the Jackman Brothers reproduction.

  8. I was not able to get shot of the sign in front of it. I am pretty sure it was the reproduction.

Bailon car.... that car has no side gl***. tops of the doors are capped.... I always thought that was odd... Pretty good money for it.

You ain't just a-woofin'. Watching it now, whole different planet than I'm on.
Great entertainment but for this kid I'm afraid that's all it will ever be.
One of the cool things for me is seeing Steve Magnante. Serious medical problems have put him through hell, great to see him back out there although it looks like he's still moving slowly. Even so, I don't think there's anyplace he'd rather be.

The 68 Mustang Fastback just sold had ridiculous 22R/20F wheels with what looked like 1-2” side wall rubber band tires. Had to ride stiffer than frozen ****.

Because 11” disc brakes look out of place on 22” wheels many have had custom 16-17” disc brakes made. If you like and want one of these creations but changed it cost more than rims and tires.

To me the Saturday cars bring crazy prices!

I’m watching the Saturday rerun of Barrett Jackson and watched an OT car sell for a million dollars. They showed the fella that won the auction and his wife had a look on her face that we have probably seen a million times ourselves, you know the “You paid how much for that piece of junk?”:D:D:D

Oh I did some research on the whole let’s go to BJ and buy a car thing and these folks are making money head over heels. $800+ just to get the bidder badge, registration, approval of funds, and to be able to walk up and look at the cars in the staging lanes. Also you get on the floor to bid at that price per day. The VIP and Lounge bidding areas are double if not more per day. Then you have the vendor, places to eat, and other things to do that are a la cart. So when you look out at the crowd bidding on the floor that’s $800 a head
