Just looked outside the shop and it is snowing some and about 20 degrees. And, that gold car was inspiration for my son when he had his chopped 50.

Yep, I remember that. I also remember walking out of the Holiday Inn in Bartlesville one year during the Stray Kat 500 and it being under the awning right outside the door. Beautiful car!

Yea, looks like it’s 8 here and we got maybe an inch of snow last night. I was out in the shop working until 10:00 and most of that snow came before I went in the house.

14* with 2 of snow and sleet on the ground, sleet and freezing rain coming down now and doesn’t look like it will give us a break until nightfall.

Do you have a wood stove in your shop?
My Pops made a 55 gallon double barrel thing that worked real good back in the day

I currently have no heat at all. I do have a gymnasium style gas heater that I need to hang up and plumb in. But, I keep getting distracted by car stuff instead.

As usual, ,the weather man was waaaaay off. 3.5 inches here, but with the temps, it ain't going anywhere for a while. Hopefully the roads will be ok enough by Wed so I can get to the airport and make my flight to the GNRS.

That was S.O.P. as a young guy in LA. Winter didn’t slow down our cruising, we just cranked up the heater in the old car and cruised with the windows down. I put a junkyard heater in one of my cars and plumbed it to blow on the windshield. Leaving my GFs house at night with a fogged up windshield was a bigger problem than the cold.
