Will 30 Ford Roadster Body Fit 34 Frame?

will a 30-31 ford roadster body fit on a '34 ford frame?

running a 235 chev inline 6 and i need the extra clearance.

 

I believe a 33/34 frame is about 3-1/2 to 4" wider than your body.

with modifications to the cross members and rail length it will, its not a bad way to go and it has been done before (jimmy whites coupe is on modified 33/34 rails i believe).
if 33/34 ch***is were going for a couple hundred bucks id say sure... but they are fetching $1000.00 for a nice one.

sell that and you can be well on your way to having a different repro ch***is built to your specs

Yeah, Plan9 has the right plan. Sell or trade your frame for a pair of deuce rails (new repro's go for $700) and build your frame how you need it.
