I used Model A w/s swing arms and brackets on my '33 Plymouth. Had to cut and widen the part that attaches to the w/s itself. Works great.

  6. last night, while avoiding going out to the garage - I read this entire thread. This morning, I made garlic / herb ****er grilled cheese with bacon, in the waffle iron. I love the HAMB.

    Step 1492:

Cut some garnish moldings from the rear doors of a 4-door.

While I was at it, I cut some MDF to make sure all of the window opening were flat and finished welding up the chop.

It's too cold in the garage to do anything, so posting counts as progress.

obviously a staged photo shoot - as evidenced by the colour matched chilly bins / port-o-potties …….:)

That looks fantastic man! How did you support/ rig the body to have it on its side?

I didn't do anything, just rolled it over. Just gotta throw a chunk of wood under there strategically to keep the quarter from tincanning. I did kinda overbuild the subframe and reinforced it, it'll sit in 3 jackstands without sagging.

  15. So as someone who honestly isn't a fan of that era mopar that one came out killer looking. Likely all the cussing and use of hammers

That diving board of a rear bumper apron on that Stude wagon is wild, quarters extended like they were gonna put a Continental spare in there. I love it.

The body was basically unchanged since '53 and Studebaker was too broke to do anything but tack on some fins to keep the styling up with the big boys.

Makes for a handy place to sit at car shows since I forget to bring chairs 100% of the time.

Love the Stude pickup's cartoonish fenders.

I'd try to say something clever about your amazing coupe but all the bon mots have already been used.

    Keep up the great work!
