    stumbled on this thread and figured I'd throw in a few from my herd that might be appreciated here:

    1953 Western Flyer X-53 (colors are technically "wrong," it's a long story)

    Were the side pipes on the J.C Higgens metal or wood or plastic or ???

    Actually 3-D printed. The tank has portholes. I saw another model that had side pipes but they were 4 on each side. I designed them in a very simple program called Tinkercad.
