Jeeze, I'm confused now...did you get the 34 you sold for the Bronco back?...I see it had a 33 grill. There were 39 tailights in the fenders too...

IMG_5888.jpeg IMG_5907.jpeg IMG_5884.jpeg No I didn’t I was trying to go through one car at a time History. The black-ish 34 with the the 33 grille was my Pops high school car.
That I got in the early 2000’s then sold it for the Bronco. Which he was mad about.
then in 2019 I got the 33 Doll.

Except for now, I’m confused because there’s 2 early color pictures, of the primer grey one I can’t tell if they’re my uncle Jon and his 34,
or my dad and his 34!
they both had 34s!!! Of course I can’t get a hold of my uncle to ask him cause he lives in the mountains and only has email!!!
Him and my dad are the only two people left that are in the cars and I’m it in the next generation.
    To add to the confusion….
    There is this 34!
My Pop’s friend Jack from the fire department who had his 34 since the 50s!!!
That my dad ended up with!!!!
    Lol!!!!

    YAAAY!!!
    Perseverance Paid off!!!
Most of you that know me by now, know that when I get a BEE in my bonnet and have a vision, until I drive everyone around me in my life crazy until I figure it out!!!!
I Think they look how I envisioned , Not too bulbous!
They look like that we see on the 60s Indy car, or a late 60s T-bucket.
So I think I nailed look!
Just can’t wait to get them on the car!
Still gotta get them balanced, but I think I’ll Wait a little bit, unless they’re like really bad.
Don’t want to drive the wife more crazy…
She already doesn’t like me right now very much.!!!

all right, that’s enough pictures for now. I think you guys are probably sick of my tire story!

    Thanks Dave!
It was a little tricky getting those tubes in with the rims all the way On. But the baby powder did the trick, slid around there pretty easy.
I put a little bit of air in there to get the wrinkles out and then it deflated it. Straighten it out pump it back up deflate it did that about three or four times and then set the beads.

    Well, darn now I’m confused!
My uncle says who’s 34 is that I don’t recognize those people either or that location!
I have no idea who’s 34 that is. I’m gonna have to ask my dad now. I just thought it was his.

(Did I mention that my family has a 33-34 problem?)

Drove her to Work! Tires are Smooth!
With no weights! Got up to 60 on the Back Roads. Guess I will know once I get on the Highway. Since I got the rear shocks traveling properly, don’t hardly feel the RxR tracks
Either. Once I get new Front shocks, it will be even better. Becoming a nice Driver!

It Even rained last night. This Girl gets grime on her undercarriage!

I love the car and the story, it’s the little details that take a good car to a great car.
The piecrust edges matching take this great car to the next level and just ties the look all together.
    OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Thanks, Dave. I was trying to go for that 64 to 68. When I was growing up watching all Reruns from the Munsters and Beverly hillbillies and Barris cars actually met Barris once he saw that I had a speed racer shirt on and wanted to get a picture. I’ll have to find it.

As much as I love Flathead, the way they look and stuff! My dad was also in the Buick motors
So my dream engine would be a chromed out cow custom style nail head with either three twos and those little cowlcustom scoops like I have or Webber’s! And like a T 10 4- speed

Got the Mrs. To actually go out in the Doll to a few errands with me. Of course, Starbucks was involved!!!
but we get back home and we just both smell like exhaust fumes!!! It must be this California gas cause it just stinks no matter how much I lean it out, how many jets I change etc.
    Fuel cleaner yada yada!
    but it’s still fun!!!

IMG_6025.jpeg Cool sold the Protracs to a buddy with a g***er Nova!
Bought some front shocks, gear oil , and the Yukon friction modifier for my 8” trac-loc Diff I forgot you were supposed to change after the first 500 miles! I’m about a 1000, hope that wasn’t to much?
