Which of these engines would be good for my small compressor?
I want to mount this in my fc service truck..I want one that isnt annoying when its running..
Of course i might have to hire someone to get it running.

Ill try to get screen shots.

Some of those are air compressor pumps. I'd guess all of the engines will need parts/work to run.
If you must, I'd go with the newest looking Briggs& Stratton type. All will be noisy
I'd look for a cheap used generator or pressure washer and take the running engine off that

$25 for the Maytag is a steal . But it won’t run an air compressor. If you buy it check the exhaust ports . They usually are plugged up . There’s a check disk in the fuel pickup tube that’s connected to the carburetor that gets gummed up and stuck . Just things to look at in case you buy it

If I’m not mistaken, the compressor could use a pilot valve that unloads the compressor when pressure is reached. Probably not necessary for occasional use with smaller compressor pump.
